Fishing report for December 11, 2006:
What a month it's been!! Horace was up for 2 weeks to try and set some BullTrout records. We fished Arrow Lake as in the past - mid November has always produced big Bulls. Well, it was the slowest fishing I've ever had!! Very disappointing... low numbers of fish, and small fish. We fished hard every day, but no record. We'll try again in February on Kootenay Lake.

Back over to Kootenay I went on Nov. 25th. The first couple
of days were slow. Minus 16 degree weather, and a 2 - 4ft.
chop from the north kept things pretty unsettled. But that
got settled out, and the big trout are on the bite. Numerous
fish 12 - 17lbs, and the biggest one came on Dec. 04 at 19lbs
4oz. A beautifull hen that was 35.5 inches long.

All the big fish are coming in on hair. Almost all the flies are
in Bob's six pack of flies that I've been mailing out to you.
The 210, 223, and the brown fly that doesn't have a number
yet.
I have a single day open on Dec. 20th, the new moon, and dates
open after Dec. 29. Lots of great fishing to be done this
winter.
Tight Lines ... Brad
