Fishing Report for November 4, 2005:
Hard to believe it's fall again, but a guy doesn't seem to mind when the fishing gets better and better.
Big Gerrard Rainbows coming in to 22 lbs, and Bull Trout to 14 lbs.
The fishing has steadily improved over the last two weeks, and
will be in full swing in the next week or so.
Skipping bucktails across the chop are working best for trout,
and when it calms down, running a plug or Apex with weight is
working good.
Bull Trout are for the most part coming from 40 - 70 ft. on the
downrigger with plugs or spoons.
For those of you that have Star Choice satallite TV in Canada,
Columbia Country fishing show will be on after the football game
on Sunday at 4:00pm on the Spokane Fox station KAYU Fox 28. Places
like Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna and Castlegar get it on cable.
Bob and Carl were up last Dec. to shoot a show, and we got great
footage, catching some big Gerrards. Hope you can check it out!!
If not drop me a line, and I'll send you a tape.
It's going to be another great fall and winter catching some of
the biggest trout in the world. Drop me a line, and we can get
out and hook you into some of these trophy fish.
